Hamish McHaggis lives in his little Hoggle, hidden away in a secret glen in the highlands of Scotland, with his friends Angus, a cheeky pine marten, Jeannie an inquisitive osprey and Rupert, a travelling English hedgehog.

We are celebrating with some very special events all around Scotland. We had a beautifully sunny day at the Boswell Book Festival on 11th May, where Hamish himself made a special appearance! Author Linda Strachan read from the Clan Gathering and signed copies of the books. We have wonderful Hamish McHaggis family days to come, for all the family to enjoy.
At the wonderful Falkirk Wheel on 14th June and the fabulous Glamis Castle on 5th July.
Look out for news about the Riverside Museum Glasgow, the Loch Ness Centre Drumnadrochit and Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye.
With celebrations in some of the amazing places across Scotland that are featured in the Hamish books, and also at festivals and bookshops we will have events and activities all over the summer.
